   Doesn't this picture bring back the memories? Dip 2/10's very first day in YTL-ICHM, where all of us looked like penguins in those uniform, when neither one of us knew anybody. We were freshies having no idea of what we have just stepped into. Look at us now, as close as ever and stronger than we ever were. On the 6th of December, Dip 2/10 will be going off for Industrial Placement where each individual is placed at a certain hotel for 17 weeks to learn about the traits of the hotel. During the 1st IP, we will be covering F&B, Housekeeping and also Guest Service. All of us will have the opportunity to face the reality in a fully functioning hotel where we will have daily encounters with guest of the hotels. Through this, we will learn how to communicate with others and work together in a team. Difficult situations may come where we may scratch our heads and wonder what should we do next but it is up to us to take hold of the situation and make the best out of it. The purpose of Industrial Placement is not only to allow students to experience real life situations but also to make us stronger as an individual. Teaching us to be creative, to work under pressure and to overcome obstacles.
