Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to present to you our first signature event, the SIPs. This event was held just last Wednesday by our very own students, Dip 2/09. The SIPs event covers a few different discussions which include wine talks as well as coffee talk by Illy. While most people say “save the best for the last”, it is indeed very true.
The most exciting and exhilarating part which got everyone into the mood was the last part, the cocktail competition. The supporters and their cheers filled the room with overwhelming enthusiasm.
We had a total of 7 contestants who took part in the competition and most of them were from different classes. Now, what are they supposed to do? The contestants are given a variety of different ingredients with the choice of mixing it with vodka or whisky and they are required to create a cocktail within 6 minutes. Not just any cocktail in the market, but from their very own cocktail recipe! And believe it or not, they do not even have a test run and have never even tried their own cocktail before!

Here are the winners of the cocktail competition:
We have with us here our 2nd runner up, Ms Jennifer from Dip 2/10 (T). She is the only female contestant among the 7 of them and she created a cocktail called ‘Vodka Sunrise’. A very interesting mix of colours followed by a magnificent taste to finish it off.
We have with us here our 1st runner up, Mr. Irvin from Dip 1/10. His cocktail creation is called ‘A Kiss Goodbye’. One shot and you can say “Goodbye”.
Lastly, our winner goes to Mr. Lim Luo Quan from Dip 1/10! His cocktail creation called ‘Appleberry Sensation’ has simply melted the hearts of our judges. A balanced taste of sweetness and sourness leaving you wanting for more.
Now, lets see the drinks that brought them to victory shall we?
